We are thrilled to share that our founder, Sheliza Kassam, was recognized with the Canada Service Volunteer Award – Emerging Leader Award. Sheliza, alongside our Executive Director, Sairose, had the privilege of travelling to Ottawa to accept this prestigious national award on behalf of Children’s Birthday Miracles.![]()

As part of this recognition, Children’s Birthday Miracles received a $5,000 grant that will directly support our mission of creating memorable birthday celebrations for children and families through our partnerships with Kids Cancer Care, YW Calgary, Children’s Cottage Society, and the Stollery Children’s Hospital.![]()

This award reflects the dedication of our volunteers, donors, community partners, and supporters who help bring joy, hope, and celebration to children facing difficult circumstances. Together, we are ensuring that every child has the opportunity to feel special, celebrated, and loved on their birthday.![]()
